Shipping Rates

All orders shipped to US addresses are mailed via USPS Priority Mail starting at $5.25. When purchasing bulky items such as books, tins, or linen, the shipping cost increases. The online store automatically adds the minimum $5.25 to each order. Your shipping charge could be higher depending on the weight of your order. If the shipping cost for your order is more than the standard $5.25 shipping rate, the customer will be notified by email with the final shipping cost. Each customer receives an email informing her/him of the shipping date. Credit cards are charged when the order is shipped.
Criss Cross Row ships orders to our customers around the world. International orders are shipped via USPS Priority International Mail without insurance starting at $11.00 US for a flat-rate envelope. The customer assumes ALL risk and liability for loss and/or damage incurred once with order is deposited with the local branch of the USPS. The order may be insured at the customer's request.
In addition to the shipping cost, there is a $5.00 handling fee for all international orders.
Customs Forms are completed to reflect the actual contents and value of the order. I have a legal and ethical obligation to meet government requirements.
I personally pull the items for each order and I pack them. I treat your order as if it was my own and I pack your order in the way that I would want to receive an order. Expect lots of packing material to keep your precious charts, scrimshaw, Shaker boxes, needles, and scissors safe.
